How to Ship Your Breast Milk
Thank you for trusting Mama's Milkies Keepsakes with a precious part of your feeding journey. Follow these simple steps to package your breast milk securely before sending it to us.
Measure no more than 1oz
Measure out no more than 1oz (approximately 30ml) of breast milk for your keepsake order.
Use a secure sample pot
Pour the milk into a clean, tightly sealed sample pot or breast milk storage pot. Check the lid is firmly closed before packing.
Double bag it carefully
Place the sealed pot inside two separate sealed bags. Gently squeeze excess air out of each bag before sealing to help prevent leaks.
Pack in a padded mailer
Place the double-bagged pot in a padded envelope or sturdy plastic mailing bag, then seal the parcel securely.
Do not declare a monetary value
When completing the postage form, do not assign or declare a monetary value to the milk. Follow the postal service's requirements for describing the parcel contents.
